This event held in memory of Mike Pfefferle ’89 features both a men’s and women’s bracket. Participation continues to grow and is a can’t miss event. Both Xavier alumni teams and teams from throughout the community are involved. If you can’t make it for the event, please check the website to purchase swag and/or make a donation. All proceeds benefit the Mike Pfefferle Memorial Fund which benefits scholarships and athletics.

Mike Pfefferle ‘89 passed away on July 4, 2021, after a courageous battle with cancer. Mike was the President of Pfefferle Companies and known for the respect and dignity he gave to employees and all whom he worked with throughout the years. His charitable and volunteer works were many and his generosity was known throughout the Fox Cities Community and especially at Xavier. Sports, fishing, and Marquette basketball were among his many passions and whether it was coaching hoops, fishing with family and friends, or enjoying an evening with his Golden Eagles, his bright smile and love for life made for many special moments. Mike was a loving husband to Lydie, and father to sons Charlie and Sam, and daughter Chloe.

Celebrate 2025 was a success!

We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who helped make Celebrate 2025 such an inspiring and successful event! We are thrilled to share that, thanks to your generosity, a net total of over $465,000 was raised for Xavier Catholic Schools. Your incredible support throughout the evening has left all of us at Xavier feeling truly blessed and profoundly grateful.

There are countless individuals who made this night possible. While we cannot name each person, please know how deeply we appreciate every one of you. A special thank you to our 30 sponsors whose generosity helped bring the event to life. We were also blessed by two extraordinary families who contributed $120,000 in matching gift dollars toward the Fund Our Future* portion of the evening. Their remarkable generosity, combined with the support of all Fund Our Future donors, helped raise an astounding $319,535 in just 20 inspiring minutes!

Lastly, Celebrate 2025 would not have been possible without the unwavering dedication of our entire Celebrate planning committee. Their vision, hard work, and commitment create a night that is not only beautiful and inspirational but also deeply impactful.

*Fund our Future is a time where we ask attendees to make a tax-deductible donation. The System President says a few words prior to a video from the System and then we take about 15 minutes during the event to ask people to prayerfully consider donating to our great school system.
