Volunteers - Athletics
Many individuals who volunteer their time and talent make significant contributions to the Xavier High School Athletic Department. With their valuable assistance, Xavier is able to provide qualify interscholastic sports competition to the student-athletes involved.
Volunteers are often needed in a wide variety of areas all school year long... during Xavier athletic home events, prep work leading up to those events, and-or for WIAA events hosted by Xavier.
During the football, volleyball and basketball seasons, the most significant assistance from volunteers comes at the concession stand, ticket gate, or with the actual event -- such as chain crew, scoreboard operator, etc. Very often, parents of incoming freshmen students will be assigned to some of these tasks, and this is a great way to meet other parents as well as become involved with the Xavier Community.
Please check this section often, as it may be updated with more specific volunteer opportunities. Also, inquire with Kathy Bates, the Xavier Athletic Director, if you are willing to volunteer in any specific way regarding Xavier Athletics. Thanks for your contribution!
